Re: Race Entry

On my start lists, like Dave a £ sign on an entry usually indicates a number of errors in the money received. In one case this year I owe the paddler 25p, in others they sent last years entry fee so they owe me £1.25. Also for instance in the case of Tully I have several paddlers who sent a cheque f...

Re: Is Div.1 K1 Men Too Large?

If my experience with Tully and Pinkston are to be believed many div 1 paddlers are missing out. I have a waiting list of over 50 for the Tully Sunday race. Some have commented they are happy to accept the Saturday race only, because they have already missed out on Shepperton. Some Pinkston entries ...

Re: Grandtully div 1 and Pan Celtic April 11/12th

Hi

That's OK.

Not sure how 220 got in the yearbook unless there was an error on the application form. However the BCU slalom committee have made it clear it is 200.

Re: Grandtully div 1 and Pan Celtic April 11/12th

Hi I have been asked to work to a limit of 200 and that is what I am trying to do. The BC committee discussed what was a reasonable limit taking a number of factors into account and that is what was felt to be reasonable. Not sure why it says 220 in the year book but actually as it will be possible ...

Training at Pinkston in early April

Pinkston Watersports are offering to run the pumps for a couple of hours around midday/early afternoon on Wed 8th April and/or Thurs 9th April the week before the April race at Grandtully. It is literally ten minutes from the route North on the west, 5 minutes or less from junction 16 of the M8 so a...

Pinkston div 2/3 Slalom

It is the first Pinkston ranking slalom this weekend in Glasgow. A 4 minute or less drive from junction 16 of the M8 motorway. There are 3 pumps at Pinkston. The div 3 event will run on 1 pump and the div 2 event on 2 pumps. There will be plenty of time for practise with the water on both settings. ...

Re: Year Books are on their way!

I am at Seaton Park slalom this weekend and will have the yearbooks with me and after that they will be going to the Strathallan Alva event and then the Alva Scottish schools assuming there are any left by that time.

Currently just part of a box left.

Re: Grandtully Division 1/2 and Pan Celtic

Many thanks to the dozens of volunteers who made the epic div1/2 event at Grandtully this weekend work. It is so difficult to list everyone I should thank, but in particular I would like to thank Irene and the timing team, section judges, jury, safety, course team, the catering team and home nation ...

Re: Grandtully Division 1/2 and Pan Celtic

I am delighted so many people wish to come to our race however I am sorry but we simply have to limit the number of paddlers to the number of boats we can get down the river in a day. I am continuing to receive entries by post and e mails. I will do what I said in the last post , add incoming entrie...

Re: Grandtully Division 1/2 and Pan Celtic
