I have seen these sort of motions come up for the last 30 years. Normally from Manchester CC or Stafford and Stone CC. It's Elite protectionism!!!!! I expect the members at the AGM will be sensible enough to dismiss them. Anyway why don't they have the guts to just say: " Girls you have got to WIN ...

Every event has organisation problems. However it must be said that if the club had FULLY used the TUTTI supplied by the Slalom Commmitte none of the Saturday problems with delays should have occured. Walky talkies have never worked whenever tried out. Having come back to attend the lower end of th...

No one from the Slalom Exec has bothered to advise me on the 'simple' algorithm to use for this calculation. (I think to implement it probably needs a rewrite of the Results Print anyway and I do not have the time currently for that) So I will not be updating the Slalom Event Organiser for Windows ...

Not sure about this so have not voted here. However the motion need some detail to add to it so we all understand the calculations involved. Can the ranking wiz kids provide me with a mathematical formulae - very simple - as to how I would have to program this in the Slalom Event Organiser. This wi...

Yes but it did run late due to the pressure on Dave struggling to put the entries into the Slalom Event Organiser on his computer. Anybody with any good ideas how to get round this. (I am afraid whatever the delights of Internet entries this will not go away) I favour the Ranking Compilers supplyin...

Anne seems to have done a good job over the last 9 months - lets at least have some continuity in the post to give the committee a chance to drag the sport out of the doldrums it has been in for the last 10 years. Anyway we do not want someone as chairman who has been an officer of the copmmitte an...

I resisted changing the Slalom Event Organiser to 'women' for a long time but as it was used abroad at the time I eventually gave in.

I would be extremley happy to revert the program back to Kayak Ladies, even if most of them are young or teenage girls.

It's much nicer title
