I am shocked to hear this news. I used to know liana well and she is quite possibly one of the nicest people i have known... I will never forget how on every run she did she would smile all the way down the course!
I wish her all the best on a good recovery

I still have my forceA- long boat but I should think it's built up for around the right weight that you're looking for, and has no breaks. However the colour scheme is a tad pink and girlie, so may be inappropriate if it's for a boy...

well I was at nottingham on sunday and the stone mini on the sunday but had no curry, which suggests it was the curry, however i know that stone was quite polluted on sunday and after your heroic swim you never know...

i had the same problem with it covering the bottom of my old boat, i used white spirit and an ice scraper- with still no sucess! good luck!

YAY well done helen! very frustrating watching it though (especially on the bbc, who cares about judo and swimming when the prospect of a gold medal is hanging over us???) I have to strongly agree ray's first comment about the commentating beacuse at the time that was exactly what i was thinking!!!

were the K1W actually shown on the BBC? because i only saw the C1s. Great news though for both stu and helen, lets just hope campbell and nick+stu keep it up and qualify on thurs! :D
