Thanks to Telford canoe club, Neil Buckley and Dave Royle for a great day at Ironbridge last weekend - loads of water time on the gates for all levels of paddler and sandcastles on the beach for the small children !

It's great to be using Jackfield again after such a long time :)

I think team runs always were a great part of canoe slalom, a bit of highly sociable (slightly) less serious fun. Just like at Abbey Rapids.

My thanks also to Tees tigers for a great weekend, I'd rather race on this fantastic site any day of the week rather than any of the artificial concrete ditches - also really excellent to have a team event on the Saturday!
