Double Dutch built a lightweight boat for Paul R for one of the championships. It was built using expensive ultra lightweight carbon and was well under 7 kgs. Paul did not race that boat as it was too hard to control the front of the boat. I think the boat got sold on and the nose exploded when it ...

Maybe we should look at organising a mini event at HPP, where we could try exactly the same course in both formats.

All those people who want to have a say could come and try and decide from their how they feel about it.

Brand new Double Dutch Cranked paddle.

I cant remember if this subject has been raised before, if it has then I apologise. When you look at a lot of the discussions on here, they come up with valid points, especially about this time of the year. Then you get the response "All ranked padlers have a say in any of the rules etc via their c...

When ever I have removed heatshrink it seems to be stuck to the glue more which i take to mean a better sealed joint. It also helps to keep the blade in posit...

This is how I assemble paddles. If anyone disagrees, by all means correct me. Determine overall length required. Dry assemble the paddle and make sure that the blades are fully seated in the shaft. If the shaft is too small to fit the stubs, be very careful about rubbing them down. Contact the supp...

Hi John Your probably looking for a paddle about 202 cm in length. Depending upon your personal preference, get the angle set to the same as your other paddles or the recommended angle appears to be 65 degrees. Most slalomists today use the kinetic shape by Double Dutch, Galasport or Raab. Nomad do...
