As you say a different view and excellent quality video. But to change the subject; Have you ever had that nightmare? We go to the champs because were addicted to competetion no no no, I mean because the whole family gets to paddle at the same event. How about a 1 parent and 1 offspring class. Just declare you team before the event ( for a nominal fee!!) and then add the 2 totals together from the individual runs ...

I was intrigued by Munchkin's quote “Wait and see… there will be a reason so there is no point in speculating” So I thought I would look on the committee pages to see if there were any clues there, but couldn’t find anything. (but like most males looking for things is not my strong point). But I di...

Tennis Elbow any advice please. I managed to over do it in January, and ended up with very limited movement in my elbow after a sprinting session. I have been to a physio and have had a couple of sessions of massage and ultra sound. I have been given a set of stretching and light resistance exercis...

For all those who can't face waiting till March for the next event, delay the cold turkey and come to a fun informal event.

The first Orton Mere (Peterborough) winter series event takes place Sunday the 8th of November.
Entries on the day, taken from 9AM, first runs 12 noon.

I vote for 5 year age bands. I think the age bands are even tighter in Triathalon, but can't quite remember (when I move up to the next age band I probally won't be able to remember what Triathalon is). I agree with Spidey "I personally do not see current numbers of paddlers being a governing facto...

How about the Stiletto from Avoncraft 1975 or 6 I think and didn't Chris Lovelock have a hand in the design?.
Granta Boats sponsored the Italian Olympic team in 1972, as they proudly claimed on their brochue. The company folded in the late 70's.
I think the boat was called the Granta.
