Matlock canoe club don't have a special junior water time but the majority of slalom paddler that come to training night are juniors. There are also more and more young people that are getting into slalom from the general paddling.

Matlock canoe club has permanent gates, water. There is a very good coaching support from two very good coaches. Can get very busy in summer with other water users. Thats the only problem. There is a wide range of paddlers from div 4's to some of the top prems.

I think this is a very good idea but there are a few problems we would have to get round. i.e Sending cards off to the BCU. Displaying results if computer are not available Computers can fail. Shut down, Break. You could lose everything!! This could work but thing would have to change in our sport ...

Dizzylemon, what right have you got to criticize people like that. They have gone out of there way to organize this event and you just go and slate them. They obviously had problem with something, which couldn't be sorted out. So cut them some slack. Not all races have to be run like div 1/Prem rac...

I think it shold be kept because 98% of events have trouble with judges. Either not entered or not turning up to there stint.
