Looking forward to paddling at Orton Mere this Sunday.
Course will be up from 3pm on Saturday and despite some recent rain the wave is looking very gentle.

Kick off is 12 noon and entries close at 11 o'clock.

But as you know it's a fairly relaxed event.

Course is up and there's a small wave so should be a good event.

Have fun.

Yes I have queried this too, as at Div1 Tully it was 5 paddlers to make it quorate in the K1 women. Is it different for Div 4?

Clarification of directions to Orton Mere slalom---- The postcode PE2 7DZ takes you to a flyover (Nene Parkway) over the river where you will look down at the slalom course so if you are coming from the A1 head along the A605 (Oundle Road) towards Orton Longueville and Peterborough City Centre. Aft...

Thanks to Esther and her team for organising the Washburn Div1 event. It ran really smoothly and some good racing was had. The courses gave the majority (I'm sure there was someone who found the 2 days easy - not me!) some technical challenge and kept us on our toes. Great to meet up again with fam...

Another plug for Proteus slalom at Orton Mere on the outskirts of Peterborough (Easy access off the A1). It's a great event for Div 4 and 3 K1 youngsters (and oldies). Alternatively, try out a C1 or C2 if you are ranked in K1 in a higher division. Because it's a weir slalom you can see the canoeist...
