We also had a great time. Awsome weather for the middle of October. Good food, £6 for a two course meal was great on saturday night. :) Shame it will only be for one day next year. I had not considered the woodpecker, again there may be some decency issues with having a visible woodpecker! What about .303 woodworms though? :p

I do not think there is anything in the rule book banning a visible beaver. It might distract the judges as you go down the course therefore negating the need for it to chew on the poles! :p

If you get promoted at any point during the season you are given short season status. This means you will not get demoted at the end of the season even if you have not competed.:)

It was great to see the tv coverage over the weekend. The BBC did a good job. The first part of the course looked a bit severe though!

I enjoyed reading these. Not sure I like the sound of five minute courses though. At the end of todays much shorter courses I feel like I need an oxygen mask! :D

I would love to see team runs at div 1 events. I have never done a team run but I think it would be lots of fun.
