Tully Prem 1st & 2nd April

Hats off to the organisers for somehow coping with the qualification format for the Prem race on April Fools Day (says a lot) - not many paddlers understood the rules or the points scoring. Is this style of racing going to apply to many more Prem races this year? Cardiff looks pretty much the same but are there any others in the calendar? just so I can remember to bring calculator and a large sheet of A3 to record and change start times / running order etc....As I say, hats off to the organisers and volunteers for managing to stay in control and for running a good weekend.
All that said, the sun shone, sort of, between hail / rain / wind of a Scottish Spring and the river had enough flow and depth to be described as challenging. Tully as ever.
