You could give the trophy to the highest placed vet who has never been ranked in div 1 or prem; gives this group of vets a chance of a trophy, as they are now racing div 1/prem vets at a lot of div 2 events.

but he won again in 2016. If the trophy is not to awarded I think Terry should get it to keep, winning 10 times ia quite an achievement. Seriously thinking about joining vets again next season just so I can get a nice lycra bib.

Why not give the Div 2/3 trophy based on points gained paddling in div 2&3 and have a separate trophy for points scored in P/1 races. We could all race in any or all divisions and compete at individual races as vets and best paddler wins on the day. This would maintain the fun element but still permit competing for the overall trophies to be fairer.
