Come back Llangollen, all is forgiven! High water there IMPROVES the course instead of washing it out like HP! AND it makes blummin fishin impossible too!! Hmph! ... rassin, fassin, moan, anglers, whinge, access rights, whine, local business, complain... :verymad:
Peter Parker - 12 gate courses are plenty long enough!

Well not always. . . A few years ago Llangollen was too high to hang the gates, and there was no where for the rescue to go below the bridge just a rather fast eddy :o . The slalom was cancelled for safety reasons

The following weekend was held at Mile end mill. It was not the same. :ohwell:

Shame about this weekend. Thanks to Mrs H and her team for trying to keep the event alive :thumbsup:
