I have been approached by Caiman to act as thier agent in the UK again. I will only do this if there is enough interest in the product and if I have been assured that the quality of the product is back to the standard that I would expect from them (and indeed any boat builder).
I have been told by the factory that the percieved drop in quality was due in part to a batch of dodgy materials and in part to a change in workers. I am at this time, arranging a boat for delivery in a couple of months, so I will then know with a little more certainty if the quality is up to the exacting standards that we in Great Britain expect.
I would appreciate it if those of you who would be interested in the Caiman product (interested not necessarily wishing to buy) would e-mail me at info@caiman.org.uk I will then be in a better position to know if it is worth taking the next step.
