I was wondering what the criteria was for selecting jury members (apart from finding someone that is not doing anything else)
I was involved in motor sport for 25 years and during this time I became an RACMSA Steward (Chair of the Jury) to become a Steward I had to attend training seminars and yearly update seminars, all this like slalom was voluntary, but at least the competitors knew that when you made a decision it was fair and that the person chairing the jury had had some formal training and accepted the result.
Is this something that we should be looking at for the future?

I have difficulty in voting on this one. You can't select all four !
I think the biggest difficulty for a jury chair when faced with a sobbing child and angry parent is that by being generous to that competitor is also treating all the other competitors in that class unfairly.
Good guidelines would help with this and of course Jury chairs would then have informed of the guidelines - in other words trained and therefore qualified.

How about voting in priority order (sorry I forgot this poll only allowed one vote and not a choice)
