Having written on the forum before, concerning the TASS scheme, i thought it only fair to write again. Knowing as i do, that people often complain when things are going badly, but rarely compliment or mention when things are going well, i wanted to say well done.
Trying not to say 'at last', can i say a big THANKYOU to Andy Maddock and Sue Trollope, for obviously having made a HUGE effort to bring TASS on, over the winter.
As with all things, TASS has had its fair share of teething troubles, but with the publication of the TASS athletes list, and the recent document for application; including background, aims and success criteria. I am very hopeful that the TASS system, can now strive to meet the demanding needs of our developing canoe sport, and inparticular the young slalom athletes that truely need the support; to train at the top, both academically and physically.
Once again, Thankyou, and good luck to all of you athletes aspiring to be on the TASS and/or WC systems.
