More than one way, but....
LARGE(range,n) will give you the nth largest value in the range
eg LARGE(A1:A25, 2) will give you the 2nd largest value in the cells between A1 and A25
So LARGE(A1:A25,1)+LARGE(A1:A25,2) will give you the sum of the 2 largest values and so on.

Most Vets and Div Vets I know - including me, tho' I am not currently racing because of injury - just want to go and race on water they enjoy, rather than chasing ranking points. The big advantage of 'going vet' was that it allowed us to do this. Open entry for all events would enable eveyone to enjoy the same facility.

Ok, so give the National Veteran award to the highest ranking DV paddler. Like points, such an award must be equally meaningless to most Veteran paddlers. Perhaps no points should be awarded for races in the Veteran league...
