I have copied this from a thread on UKRGB, I am sure there are many people on this forum that knew Rob from Sheffield CC and all the help he and the rest of the family gave to making the Oughtibridge Slalom a success over the years.
"It is with regret that I have to inform you that Rob Laughton aged 37 sadly passed away early morning Friday 18th of January. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sally his wife & George his new born son, his parents Ian & Margaret, and James his elder brother."
Our thoughts and condolences are with his family at this sad time.
