May have done but the SCA site didn't contain that page & link when I posted.....

And since the SCA have taken down their Bulletin Board it is difficult to post up information on slaloms and other paddling events....

Previous Board so you are in the clear ???

Thanks Seedy!

Entries to alva@stirlingcanoeclub.info by email BEFORE THE DAY (no entries on the day!). Information on the Canoe Slalom website.

Start list at http://www.stirlingcanoeclub.info/downl ... astart.pdf

This is being run with help from several clubs - SCC are doing the entries & start list, it's not an SCC event!

See all you Scottish paddlers on Sunday,
Steve

Hi it's Emily Brown, today after the Alva slalom I think someone
got my paddles mixed up with theirs and took the wrong set home as
mine have gone missing and I was left with a similar pair. Mine are
fairly new black Double Dutch paddles and they don't have any
distinguishing stickers on them, they also don't have a hand grip. The
set I was left with are also black Double Dutch, they have a hand grip
and they are slightly shorter (so I assume it's a younger paddler).
Would you be able to please check your paddles and see if you have the
right ones? Thanks :)

Thanks Bankside...

Johnny is working frantically tweaking handicaps for race 2, I'll put a start list up in the next day or two, and when we get revised handicaps, they will appear on the list.

Glad you mentioned the parking - thank you to everyone for being so understanding...I am sure when you walked across the field it became pretty obvious why we couldn't use it for parking...I think we'd still be digging folk out now ???

Start list and results are available from the main Canoe Slalom website :)

See you in a couple of weeks...

Hi Slink

Given what is happening today (SEPA - Devon)

You may want to post an update on plans for Sunday, pretty wild out there :p

Thanks Seedy...
Bank full is around 3.0m, so the level is high but contained, in fact it should give us plenty of opportunities for the course build tomorrow! A better gauge is this one: Glenochil
We are at the course tomorrow, so I will post on here and on the start list which is available from the main website if there is any change.
NO POST = NO CHANGE :)

As we've had a couple of emails asking...

WINTER SERIES RACE 2 IS "ON" TOMORROW (11th DECEMBER).
Free practice for up to div 2 to 11:30, Div 1 official practice from 11:30, Racing starts at 12:00.

Parking as before - please move your car to the industrial estate after dropping off.

We are not using cards - turning up at the start wearing your bib indicates yours, or your parent/guardians acceptance of the participation statement.
