This weekend sees the return of the famous Peterborough Winter slaloms.
A fun event, open to all ages, classes and divisions. Relaxed atmosphere, course up Saturday, practice from as soon as you want to get there till we start around noon.
The weir is 'tasty' at the moment, so we are moving the event dowm a bit - the top wave is fun, but not for beginners! Having said that, I bet the river drops now. We will set a course that is enjoyable by all levels of experience, with some 'hard' moves, that have a longer alternative. Normal slalom rules except
- If you capsize accidentally you can have a free hot drink
- protest forms are availabe on the bottom of the river under gate 12.
- If you are nervous and want travelling safety to come round with you, feel free, we might even be able to supply someone of you get there and are not sure, just ask.
