Or first visit to the Interclub's.
Been warned about the mud when it is wet.
Well just checked Metcheck and so far it forecasts a heatwave!!!
Could be good for your beer tent too Silver.

If previous years that I have attended are anything to go by, apart from last year because myself and family were sunning our selves in Kefalonia! we have been very lucky with the weather at the interclubs.

You should be more worried in case Silver drinks all the beer!!
:p

:) As the Organiser I think the event went well and have had a few emails of thanks. Myself and Catharine did not get away from site until Tuesday midday both knackered, the pleasing thing was the comments the park users made how clean the site was left thanks to you all.

If you have any comments good or bad let me know.

Lost property:- 1 Sponge bag, Childs Watch, 2 tops (9year & 14 year old). phone me if you think they are yours 01582 651615

I think it was possibly the best yet. The large entry probably helped, along with the fantastic weather, but also there was a great atmosphere with everybody enjoying themselves.

There were the usual casualties on Saturday night, plus a broken leg. I hope the person that broke his leg has got it fixed up now and got home OK.

I would also like to add my thanks to Jim for once again running aan excelent event.

Did anyone catch the news coverage on tv- did they show it? Is it on-line anywhere?

:) We did have TV Coverage on ITV East on Sunday Night about 4 Seconds

The Broken Leg man was from Cleveland C C it was by his own making, moral of the story is you don't dance on folding chairs.

The man who broke his leg was Pete Wilson, he is home now (but only just). He now is the proud owner of a large metal pin in his leg.
Would just like to say thanks to Jim, fantastic weekend, looking forward to 2007, although our club hopes to finish the event next year without anything broken!!
Thanks to all those clubs who kindly lent Cleveland Canoe Club boats and equipment, special mention to St Albans who helped us a lot. x
