Any paddlers in the area please come along to Duckmill weir in Bedford for a play and the annual boxing day roll.
Meet at 11am for the roll at 11.30 followed by a quick sprint up to the Viking Clubhouse for a pint.
What better way can there be of getting over christmas day while showing off the new kit, having a chat and hopefully since it is the 40th anniversary getting on TV and some publicity for the sport. (hence we want a good turn out - maybe set a new record!)
The weather forecast shows some showers next so the river level should stay up and the sluices should be fun.
For those of you in any doubt the date of the roll is the 26th!
