REC Level 1 & 2 First Aid Courses

Extreme Care has the following courses running in February:

A REC 8 hour course and a REC16 hour course planned for the weekend 24th/25th Feb 2007 at Sleningford Watermill Ripon, North Yorkshire.

The level 1. 8 Hour course will run on Saturday the 24th of Feb 2007 from 9am.

Cost: £45 per head.

No previous experience or training is required for this course.

This course is aimed at appointed persons to conform to HSE requirements.

Course Content:

* Principles of first aid
* Vital signs
* Basic body organs
* Safety
* Casualty care
* Safe Airway Position
* Blocked Airways
* Choking
* Emergency Breathing
* Serious bleeding
* Heart illness CPR

Continuous Assessment takes place during the course.

Certificates are awarded for this course and are valid for 3 years.

The level 2. 16 hour course will run on Saturday the 24th of Feb 2007 and Sunday the 25th of Feb 2007 from 9am.

Cost £90 per head.

No previous experience or training is required for this course.

It covers the minimum level of First Aid training recognised by the MLTB, BCU, BASI, ASSI, and BOF and most other NGB’s. It also qualifies the holder to be an appointed person at work. (Not to be confused with First Aider at Work, which is a four-day HSE course).
