Due to water release restrictions, the Environment Agency will not be releasing water on river Tryweryn on Saturday, 2nd June.
Bala Canoe Club have cancelled the Premier event on this day, and will liaise with the BCU slalom committee with regard to rearranging a date for the event, later in 2007. In the meantime, Bala CC will keep the entries from Premier paddlers until a date has been rescheduled. If this date is inconvenient for a competitor, the entry will be refunded.
The division one slalom will run on Sunday, 3rd June as scheduled. However, please check the water information line - 01678 520826 before travelling.
Please spread this message to all premier division paddlers.
Bala CC would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by circumstances that are way beyond our control. We hope to resolve this through the running of an event later in the year.
