Just to inform people that on Sunday, Nottingham's marathon is taking place. The route includes the HPP area. I've been told that the access road to the course will not be usable for a time on Sunday morning. I believe that restrictions start at 10am ish.

Can anyone that is Nottingham based confirm this timing?

Rob
Neither the Experian or Nottingham local authority website seem to include the start time of the race!
Haven't noticed any signs saying Regatta Way is closed either (but that doesn't mean they're not there!)
Route also goes around regatta lake and might also go through the car park.
Waiting for info from organisers re timings/closures - hope to get info tomorrow to pass on.

Re road closures:
Notts CC Highways Dept have said that although some roads near to HPP are closed throughout the day there should still be access to the slalom course. Regatta Way/Adbolton Lane will probably be one-way/restricted speed limit between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
