Proetus Winter Slaloms

Post by Canadian Paddler » Mon Nov 03, 2014 4:33 pm

So you thought the season ended with the British Open?

No THE PREMIER events of the year are just kicking off. Proteus Winter Slaloms on November 16yth and December 13th.

Relaxed fun events aimed at the beginner, but with some twists to keep the better paddlers working hard.

Enter on the day, starting at the crack of noon, with the course going up on the Saturday.

Lots of prizes, including the ever wonderful Mrs CP cakes, sweets and permanent prizes.

See you all there

Just days to go till the start of the winter races. Yes Peterborough!!

I will be down at the club from about 10 to start getting the course ready (hopefully with some assistance). As soon as the course is up, practice can start.

Sunday: the course is open, at your own risk from as soon as you want to get there, entries from about 10, start around noon.

Ingredients for soup purchased, cake ingredients purchased, prizes purchased, all we need is YOU

I shall be there with a small contingent from Break Out! How hard will I need to work for the cake?
