Some of you may have seen the results screen at Howsham this weekend which is an add on which I developed for Simply Slalom. A number of paddlers and parents commented how much they liked it.

Just so organisers are aware this is free to use by anyone using Simply Slalom.

It runs on your results computer and creates a number of html (web) files.

You can then either

a) Add a second monitor to your computer and display the web pages on it.

b) Create a small network (wired or wireless) and share the directory with the files in it. You can then have a number of screens attached to any basic computer than can run a browser and connect to the network share.

If you need any help/info please just get in touch.

c) Set up a web server with dynamic DNS and publish the pages to the internet
d) Synchronise the folder to the clubs static webserver and have it publish them to the internet

I guess it is almost infinitely expandable, but I wonder how many organisers glazed over as soon as you mentioned a second monitor? :)

option D has been done.

I'm thinking about option C.

but sneaker net is much simpler (american term for get off your backside and walk to the screen) :)
