Howsham 2/3/4

Post by djberriman » Thu Jun 01, 2017 10:01 am

An entry may have gone missing. It was sent to the address in the year book (I've moved since) and should have got to me but reception lost it by the time I went to pick it up.

Please check the entry list on canoeslalomentries.co.uk. If you are not listed please get in touch.

Thanks
Duncan

I'm having a vague moment - what time do runs usually start at Howsham, and official practice?

Well it looks like we are all ready.

You may want to bring some wellies/boots as there is a lot of mud about and not a lot of grass outside control due to construction works. Hopefully it will stay dry and all will be well.

The grass in the camping field has been cut but is quite long, better than stubble as in the past and the ground quite bumpy so you might want to bring an extra ground sheet/tarp if you have one and perhaps ensure you have something nice and soft to sleep on.

Water level is looking good.

Please keep out of the fenced off areas still under construction.

We don't have a playing field at the moment as the grass has not been cut so not sure we will be able to do rounders/yorkshire olympics :(

See you there!
