Just to say that entries close on Thursday 17th.
Start List is on Canoeslalomentries.co.uk. If you have a draft entry, please complete the process.

This should be one of the best races of the season, well worth travelling for if you are still dithering....

But which August Bank Holiday?
English, Scottish or Local?

August is one of the holidays that some towns & cities in Scotland take at different times to others typically determined by the start of the summer shutdown for the main industries in each town, which are staggered, originally to avoid everyone arriving in the holiday resorts at the same time.
The default Scottish date is different to the English date too.

Rob, how come I have ££ on Sunday - I paid online didnt I?

Div 2 C1M - we are just quorate, can we get a few more entries to make sure please? :)
Looks like Div 2 C1W are in the same situation.

Are we missing C1's and C2s because they are doing officials K1 in preparation for next weekend?

I know I'm not Rob, but I suspect it is because you entered more than one class. The online system doesn't calculate multi-class discount*, so at the moment the only way around this is for the organiser to do a partial refund on the day.

*On my list for next year!
Kit Washer, Entry Clerk, Chauffeur, Reluctant Organiser, Online Entry Advocate .....
Anything I post under this user is my personal opinion; I am not posting as a member of the Slalom Committee!

Hi Jim
Yes we owe you £3 as you have multi-class entry. Both C1M and C1W are now quorate.
See you Saturday.

I probably knew about MCD at some point in the year - most of my online entries so far have been PU or officials so I will have forgotten!

I think all the C1 boys are more than 1 win from promotion so we should be quorate all weekend, but for the girls I know one of them is getting close and is on a mission!

We had really close racing last weekend, although we are missing a couple of those paddlers I'm looking forward to it!

K1 not so much, I am getting better, but not as fast as everyone else! :)

Rob, I left my red Hydrapsort hoody in the cafe, was it found? If so can I get it back next weekend?
(I can see it hanging from the marquee frame in Dave Royle's prizegiving photo..)
