Orton Mere, Peterborough Winter Slalom

Post by Slapdash Sal » Sat Nov 11, 2017 6:52 pm

You must all be bored now! There's been no slaloms for a few weeks!

Come along to Proteus Canoe Club first winter slalom on Sunday November 19th.
The course will be up on the Saturday so practise is available on Sunday morning.
The event will start at 12 noon.
Queensgate shopping centre is close by, as is Nene Valley Steam railway and Nene Park Country Park.
We hope to see you there.

A lovely sunny day for a relaxed slalom competition.
Many thanks to Proteus for running - and also to whoever added up the penalties for my first run and omitted some of them!

The snow has arrived. The roads are somewhat icy.

So although the course is up we will not be running the slalom today.
All spelling errors are intentional and are there to show new and improved ways of spelling old words. Grammatical errors are due to too many English classes/teachers.
Old. Fat. Slow. Bad tempered. And those are my good points
