The Yat is washed out and the River on Red alert upstream, combined with the high winds we have made the decision to cancel it.

Dulverton Sat Nav TA22 9HJ
There are lines still up from the canceled event Two weeks ago.
The River Levels are good and the site is much more sheltered from the wind.
So we have proposed to move the event.
I am still waiting for approval for this and will post an update as soon as possible.

For anyone that can not make the change we will give a full refund.

Sorry to Say the Yat Slalom has been canceled.

We have tried to change the venue but there is not enough time to make all the arrangements.

For anyone that is traveling to the Yat with accommodation booked we could do a River trip or something ?
There are lots of lovely rivers in South Wales like the Usk and lots of water about.

Hi Mike,

We haven't done the Usk for years so would be interested in getting out for a paddle on Saturday if you're arranging something. We're staying in the Forest View Guest House in Symonds Yat East.

Cheers,
James

Hi James
You could find the water is over the Road in the morning, its at 4.00 meters in Ross and rising.

The Usk is on 2.35 meters in the Red and will probably drop a bit.
So we are considering doing Talybont - Llangynidr.
Provisional meet at Tallybont Bridge 10.00am and make a decision.
