Post by paulk » Sun Dec 01, 2013 11:34 pm

Double Dutch Yacuzzi 368 Large K1 – pro racer specialist construction - Very good condition – Not sure about cut: I’m 6’1” and 83Kg but suspect it can be paddled by both lighter and heavier paddlers, try it out. Available to try near the Lee Valley White Water Centre or at the Shepperton Winter series. £300. Contact me on kettlepaul@hotmail.com for more details

A little about the boat – Full disclosure:
I purchased this boat in August 2013 to celebrate my promotion to division 2 from a recently returning Premier Paddler (He has a connection to CSCANOE hence the sticker). He had bought two of these models 3 years earlier: a used one that he used to train in and this one that was unused and then sat in his garage until I bought it.

The boat is a lot faster than my previous model and it holds a line very well. It has two unusual features: 1) The tail is wider than most slalom boats I have seen, a beaver tail. 2) It has rails.

The boat has only been paddled on the LVWW Legacy course and Shepperton for the last three months and has no damage other than a few scuffs that disappear when the boat is wet. The tail and nose have always been taped just in case; I removed the tape from the bow for the photos. The foot rest sliders have been moved for me at 6’1”, the old holes have been filled with Araldite, note that there are two sets of filled holes as the first time I move the foot rest sliders I did not move them far enough. The previous owner also added a wider seam

Let me know if you are interested or would like to try the boat out. I can bring it to the Shepperton winter series or I live 10 minutes from the Lee Valley White Centre and you can pop over and try it out on a local river.
