nomad quantum for sale!

new at the end of 2006 and not used since the end of the 2007 season, although it is still a popular design.

brand new seams and a few patches on the bottom where it had worn through a bit. no other breaks/repairs

3 tone blue design of deck (email me for pictures)

cut for up to 65kg

Hi Jake,

How come you aren't selling your Quantum to VKC? It would appear to fit the spec and price they are after.

the boat has been on offer at vkc since march, with no interest so far...

forgot to mention in the ad, i am at hpp most tuesdays and the boat will be at most prem/1 events and the interclubs.

Mark, thanks for flagging that up with a view to assisting both Jake and VKC. VKC have a small budget for some second hand slalom boats and the odd £50 per purchase makes an accumalative difference to the actual number of boats we end up with. Accordingly, Jake's boat is probably worth what he is asking here to an individual paddler but remains a tad high for a Club purchase. (So not quite accurate to say no interest Jake, just sadly not flush enough!) We have discussed the matter of course and so that VKC did not mess him around we suggested to proceed with advertising it and if there were no takers, we would offer that tad less

Basically, if anyone has a good condition 3.5m watertight slalom boat, any construction, for any body weight, VKC will gladly give you £350 for it. Interclubs shortly so may find some "approaching end of season" bargains there
