It would make a lot more sense running events on natural rivers when there is a better chance of water, than in the height of summer when levels are more likely to be low. So far I think all but one of the Div1 races have been cold and wet weekends and more like winter than spring/summer? With the ...

“Putting Paddlers First and Valuing Volunteers” This appears to be the 'mission statement' of the slalom committee, is this the case? I and others were extremely displeased about a member of the slalom committee publicly passing comments that were not in the best interest of encouraging volunteers ...

Paul, from what limited knowledge I have of rowing it seems that you are already building on the stamina side which is good, I would look at the 'explosive side' to get a good start and get up to speed quickly so you can maintain the pace using your stamina as well. Hope you have a grate day tomorrow, but with the Washburn running as well it was a close call, but the Washburn one on the grounds that it was slightly closer.
