I think the course designers and timing team would have something to say about that! It takes them a couple of days to set an event up in Llangollen, compared to a couple of hours in Nottingham. Thats not to say that I'm not dissappointed in not being able to compete in Llangollen, but until the WC...

Anne seems to have done more as chair of the committe over the past few months than anyone has done in years. I say keep her in and let her carry on the good work.

I tried to show an example of what the international races use for displaying results but it didn't display. Basically they have a printout of every competitor with their time and also what penalty they got for each gate. Very simple and it does away with the need for a card.

I've personally never had a problem with peak kit. If I had, I know they would always fix or replaced the kit. As for your deck being like a paper bag, what have you being doing with it? I'm guessing they will use the same designers, EDF, but they will use good old British workmanship. We always build stuff to last cause we're too tight to update it!!!!

Not a bad race, but I think the course could have been better. I think all it would take is for the big eddies to be used. I heard that the course for the uni champs was good because they did this. You don't need to go too crazy to make a challenging course. Keep most of the breakouts simple, maybe...
