Traditionally it had been held then so I think that is why it continued. Two years ago discussions to form a committee left only that time of year to squash in a meeting and end of season races were both at Llangollen - P/1 weekend has more paddlers - better a meeting than none.

With mainly Div 1's and only selection paddlers on the Sunday will mean the percentages for selection could be easier to hit.

Succees in German Open. Mallory and Jacquelyn both paddled in the final under floodlight. Jacquelyn got a 3rd place medal.
Hopefully this will encourage others to try C1W and the training days.

My childrens thoughts were it was a good div one course and if anything far too open for a selection race - it was not as hard as May selection by any shot. Some good technical moves though set on the curls - the features were well used. :D :D The question is now that HPP is upgraded should it be u...

Because of that any development in the K1W for people not on the Development Squad will benefit C1W in the long run. :D I think you will find none of the girls doing C1W are current development squad. Alice and Fiona are the only ones who have been on development before and they are currently not i...

The field is growing! Four in Div1/P plus Mallory judging at Bala Mill.

There are opportunities out there, Jacquelyn and Alice got to the final in Prague.

Have a go at the days organised in August.

Depends when the course goes up as most people will not be able to train prior - Prem and Pan Celtic. Suspect only judges can get on the course.

A list of results with the selection points has gone up previous years. This year the races the paddlers wish to go for abroad is impacted on by their position in selection so a table would be useful. The selection policy doesn't tell you this unless you sit and work out all the points yourself.
