That's a brilliant idea JimW, you could have a gate with a big letter 'T' above it which stops the Timer clock, going through the next gate restarts it!

I was under the impression that the age of 8 is a rough guideline, certainly my club has (Family) members aged 6. We take people on their abilities, not just age.

For each step in the example sequence given, you can calculate the total cost of that paddlers entries compared to what they have currently paid.
Then either charge or refund the difference.
