There will be a white water race on Saturday the 15th of September in conjuction with the prem/div 1 slalom. Anyone is allowed to enter regardless of speed. You can even race in your slalom boats! Entry fees are a lot cheaper than slalom too. Give it a go and try something new! more info @ www.wild...

I think you should make wristbands with "support the rivers access campaign" on them, and sell them at all canoeing events to promote awareness of the access situation

Wouldn't it be best to have the races in the UK follow the same rules as for internationals?
That way when athletes compete abroad they will not have to change any techniques etc. to comply with different rules.

I disagree, the boats are not ugly. Mine's beautiful. It is black with orange flames on the deck and glitter, what more could you want? It is also for sale if anyone's interested would suit a small paddler ie. small women, junior girls, and small junior boys. It's a Double Dutch Advantage check it ...

Hmm. Surely if you are doing the stroke behind the body it is no longer a bow rudder, i always thought the bow was the part of the boat infront of the paddler (unless of course you're a rower and so do everything backwards) In all seriousness though i was always taught to have the bow rudder infron...
