Hi!

Does anyone know when the calendar will be finalised?

Was it approved at the AGM or were there any alterations to be made?

Just starting to plan ahead a little...

there is no intention of racing over the falls, that's very much a prem/div 1 bit of water. The bit upstream is ideal for a 2/3 and i don't think that div 4 paddlers will struggle too much. The div 4 could be a short course, but we'll see. No toilets etc, but there's nothing wrong with porta loos a...

Good point HaRVey. I don't see what benefit is brought to the paddlers promoted mid season from being able to race at a couple of prem races and coming near the bottom. I do think that the old system of committee decision worked, as each season, natural gaps appeared and people could generally see ...

just a couple of my thought really.. Should anyone (not just a girl, but a K1M or a C1) be able to get promoted to the next division if they are unable to complete the course at the event that they are gaining points? Should there be a maximum points total acheivable by those people who don't compl...

there is another issue that hasn't been considered yet... What about the prem paddlers who are heavily committed to racing, train really hard and are striving for success. Their results are heavily dependent upon the time of the season that they are gained. At the begining of the season (tryweryn) ...

The best thing is to have a go!

Just tell the organisor that you've never judged before and you could do with a hand, or just ask one of the section judges if you can sit with them for a bit. Much better than just reading the rules and trying to work out what a pre touch is!

Right we're getting there! We've already got over 40 entries for each day, and 10 gates up, so it's looking good! CP, we had Ross down this evening and he was wondering if you were going to show your face and do C2 with him. There were several mentions of the good old days... Anyway, the forcast's ...

Hi

It's Our Darren's (Cresser). He broke it taking a nipper down the course in a topo duo.

You know anyone coming to the big Harefield race this weekend that could drop it off?

PM me your number and I'll pass it on to Darren to arrange something else if not...

Cheers for picking it up!

Sorry to sound negative, but I don't like it much!

I can't come up ith anything better, so maybe shouldn't criticise, but I'm not too keen!

We'll be starting work from about half five, but not sure how long these slalom courses take to put up! The usual group will be down from 7 though, so feel free to join in! I may need to be a bit clearer, wednesday 23, not tomorrow. But feel free to come down this wednesday too! See you soon! Nicky
