What about a double div 1 at the Tryweryn - On the Graveyard or the Ski Slope?
That would be incredible and a good lead-in for the Prem races.

Proteus Winter Canoe Slalom is on Sunday at Orton Mere in Peterborough. Starts 12 noon. Course up on Saturday so practise available from 9am on Sunday. Great on all British rivers - I am 60kg but paddle a small and it's fabulous, even on Lee Valley Olympic course.

I would suggest that the boat weight changes are advertised at the last few races as some paddlers might not be aware of this.

I agree that lack of demos and judges is an issue. I think many of the younger paddlers don't even think about it. I suggested judging and doing an official's run to a paddler on Sunday at Graveyard and she got so much out of it. Several of us are thinking that it might be useful to limit the number...
