Glad you had a good event in spite of the swim.

I've had a couple of emails asking for the results. Please give me a bit of time - I need to go through and finish checking them before I publish and I have needed to give priority to home and work this week!

We are hoping to be able to run gate judges exams on Saturday so please take the opportunity to have a go if you haven't done before.

An organisers plea Please when you send in your entries: - Send them on a proper card not a scrappy piece of paper or and email with only half the information - Look up this year's bib number (don't leave it to the organiser) - Check the current fees - Fill in the card properly (date of birth is re...

Munchkin - at least we have some nice hot showers!

All - Start lists are up on the front page of www.canoeslalom.co.uk - many thanks to Nick - they only include on time entries - late entries will be added later.

Don't bother with the envelope - most people don't and it's one of those rules that should probably be updated.

Yes just by competing in slalom you get a year book (always assuming the organisers can read your address)

Any further entries received will now have the late fee added! I will publish start list and timings etc within the next couple of days. btw for those that are interested, the water levels have dropped somewhat so it looks as though we will only have the two side spills, so if anyone out there know...

slalom rules are all in the year book, but not sure whether you will receive it before Shepperton. Don't worry though because you can watch others go round and get the idea!

The entries are gradually increasing from a trickle to a flood (well almost), but for those that have forgotten, the last date to avoid late entry charges is fast approaching. ALL entries received after WEDNESDAY 20th FEBRUARY will be charged the late entry fee. I will waive this for entries receiv...

Such an attitude no doubt contributed to you reaching the top 10.

Congratulations for getting so far.

Perhaps we'll see you at the Shepperton div 2 - with current rainfall it won't be tame!

I'm inclined to agree. Added to which, if there is no required to go clean then hitting the poles hard could even be an advantage as they're more likely to be swinging wildly for the next paddler to come down. I'm curious about the one pole gate too, especially in the lower division flat water slal...

Geebs 6*£10 = £60, but I was assuming 2 teams of 6 and 2*60 = 120! That aside. This year Shepperton will be running it's first div 2 slalom of the season as a double - in the past it's always been a single event on the Saturday. This is an experiment to see if the numbers increase for the div 2 at ...
