Thanks for that. I managed to bodge up a repair using elasticated rope made a tight knot each end then forced it through the holes using a bit of vaseline as lube, i then washed it away with acetone and used araldite to glue it in. It looks ok i shall test it out this weekend on the extreme white w...

The other day i was checking out my old Fury Sprint and found that the front elasticated grab loop had broken, (so that was were the water was getting in) anyway i would need six foot long arms to replace it. I can seal up the holes but are grab loops a requirement i cant find anything in the year ...

I agree with Beefy that air bags are a pain in the ####. Some years ago i put 2 airbags in the back of my boat, it was a hot day at Darley Abbey and when i got back from the pub at lunchtime i found my boat had expanded and the seams had split :(

My best event i ever went to was Wychnor Bridge in 96 Cleaned up on prizes 1st div4 C1, 2nd team, 3rd div4 k1 Plenty of alcohol on Sat night by the camp fire i remember i got through a crate of Steel beer the stuff in the blue bottles that was loopy juice.
