I thought the got the best of the points that they would have got in either of the divisions. In your case, of course, that would always be from the div 2 I could be wrong though.

Re: 6.2 Veterans Points (75/25)
I would expect that you calculate div 2 points with the div 2 difficulty factor then div 3 points with the div 3 difficulty factor. And then take the best of the results.

Re: 6.10 Entry Fees
I'm intrigued that there has been no responses to this one as entry fees are usually such a hot topic!

Re: 6.6 Carry Points Forward for 2022
They haven’t! They have, I believe, committed to considering them, but this isn't the same thing. That is not to say they won’t happen just that nothing has been decided either waychriswilde wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 7:11 pm
The committee have already committed to some end of season promotions

Re: 6.6 Carry Points Forward for 2022
Not really Dee As the idea is for those who have picked up points that may count towards promotion at a couple of races to keep those points towards promotion early next season, it is irrelevant for vets and prem. I spoke to Duncan before this was proposed and he said it would be fairly simple to c...

I suspect this may lead to unconsidered consequences and confusion all round!

Re: 6.6 Carry Points Forward for 2022
I assumed as end of season promotions hadn’t been announced then they weren’t happening Promotions and Demotions are always discussed at the Committee meeting after the ACM. This year the decision to say that there would be no demotions was taken early and announced to remove risks associated with ...

Re: Veterans - Alternate points
This would require no work except from me and the bib officer… SS could do this automatically. I beg to differ, for SS to do this automatically I suspect Dave would need to do some work and for him to be able to do his bit I would probably need to do some stuff too. … just saying :D

Re: What is the Spectators Race in Online Entries and What do I do?
I thought it would be obvious that spectators was for those not paddling and would allow organisers to get and idea of overall numbers and lists of attendees. Clearly I got that wrong! Some people have clearly understood but as soon as one person books in twice every one else follows suit. I tried a...

Re: Yahoo, aol and Verizon email addresses
Thanks for the suggestion. However, aws is only free if you are paying them for hosting, and we are not! Also, we’ve been happy with the service provided by postmarkapp. This glitch was not of their making and significant glitches are rare. Finally we bulk paid for emails years ago and got a really ...

Yahoo, aol and Verizon email addresses
If you are on a yahoo hosted email address (includes aol and Verizon), you may experience issues in receiving emails from canoeslalomentries and therefore be unable to log on. According to the service we use for these automated emails (a company called postmark), Yahoo have confirmed that caused by ...

Re: Llandysul Div 2 12 and 13 June - Has it been cancelled?
The decision was taken a while back that no div 2s or above could be run before the 21 June (at the earliest). This is based on div 3/4s being more localised events whereas paddlers travel considerably further for div 2s. Hence Llandysul has lost the div 2 but will be running the div 3. So the disap...

Re: What is the Spectators Race in Online Entries and What do I do?
OK my first attempt was obviously as clear as mud, so I've updated the system and the first post.
Red button on entry page mean attending parents and hangers on should register as spectators.
No red button then nothing to do
