Last year the div 1 had water for the morning but afternoon runs had to be abandoned when the weir gates were shut part way through. Latest update: Div 2 will go ahead come what may. We still are watching water levels for div 1. The people in control of the weir have said they will be able to give some idea of expected levels on Tuesday 28th and a more accurate assessment on Thursday. So keep watching this space! Hey, what's all the rush? You don't need the bibs just yet. If I was a bib officer (which I'm thankfully not) I reckon I'd want to save them up and do them in batches at this time of year. Seems to me like a pretty thankless job and lots of work. Well done to the bib offices for taking on the task!
