J10 is the lowest "official" age group, but some people do put lower age groups on the entry cards. The online rankings database only shows the official age groups, are you looking at the yearbook rankings? I haven't got a yearbook to hand to check.

+1 to what Nick said I agree with Arrowcraft however that all prem paddlers should be able to get an entry at all the events they select, and hence the size of Prem should be limited. Yes, a fabulous event in a gorgeous setting. I am sure that it isn't the easiest of events to organise so thank you very much for the efforts of everyone. We are already planning to return in October.

The only elected official in British Canoeing is the president and they recently tried to remove that post. It is a long time since there has been any real accountability to their membership.

I think you are right, I kind of assumed that Ivan had done his research. Nevertheless he has a strong personality and may stir things up a bit in the British Canoeing board meetings, which can't be a bad thing.
