I think the chances of reversing the order making any difference to the number of catch ups is pretty slim to be honest. After all if number 20 boat is slow enough to be caught by number 19, they will also likely be caught by number 21.

I like this, we will start racing in division 2 again next year if this goes through and give up our purple bib.

I don't see the benefit of this rule change. Newly promoted paddlers benefit from spending more time on the course, those with ambitions of promotion will be better off saving their energies and using their time watching others practice.

Totally in favour. But why can't we tackle C2 at the same time? I would suggest separating div 2 and 3 too.

A load of faff honestly just so a very small number of elite paddlers can save a bit of money on their plane fare.
