We have three sets of roof bars for sale because of selling two cars and an ebay mistake. All are Thule - £20 each. One fits a W reg Corsa. One an N reg Fiesta. The other one is for a Ford with gutters, but too big for a Fiesta - Escort?
We are going to Tully and live close to Nottingham.

A lot of you have noticed that the slalom course was badly damaged by recent floods. We have rescued the poles that stopped before they reached Cromford, but it is still a bit bare. Lots of Clubs come over to Matlock to train and have asked how they can help. We will need to buy lots more line, pol...

We only met Sue a couple of times, but even so, she impacted on the lives of both my children with her warm, encouraging approach. A great loss. Out thoughts are with all her family and friends.

We've just been told that the school Easter holiday 2008 will not be over Easter, but a week later...5th - 20th April. Has anyone else had this "brilliant!" news or is it just Derbyshire?

Speaking as a K1W who has been demoted from Div 2, I don't feel discriminated against... I feel ecstatically happy! I was completely out of my depth in Div 2 (often literally!) and I am looking forward to a season's paddling where I won't be too scared to paddle.

I don't want to send cheques off for events I don't need to attend , or vice versa, send in a late entry and get stung! I know there are several families who think they might have been recently promoted but will paddle in extra events until this is confirmed, this takes points of those still seekin...

Slowest time = really expensive.

There has been a lot of micky taken out of the div 2's recently, and I quite agree that I really don't feel like I deserve to be there - I'm very slow, I'm scared at Matlock and the div 3 women usually beat me - but I was promoted fair and square with two end of season wins, but with times to be as...

OK, fair point! I'll just have to try harder and paddle faster then won't I! The race of the underdog to excite the crowds, instead of chatting to the spectators on the way down!
I suppose it is quite a good feeling to be 1st for 1 minute at least!

I'm really confused why the high bib numbers go first. These are by definition the weakest paddlers and often like myself old and slow. So why do they go first with the young speedy ones powering down behind them only then to get whistled off? If the fast low bib numbers went first then they could ...
