The other thing to bear in mind if there are more races (and this may be behind the current nine races...) is that if there are any more than nine, and it's still best of five, there's scope for a tie for first in Prem. It strikes me that if there is a need to reduce the size of Prem and Div 1, it's going to be a painful exercise as those demoted aren't going to be happy, but given the lack of affordable sites for more races, there doesn't seem to be any other option? I was 'on a break' when the rules changed so do...

As a paddler I love it, would be great if it were used at more events, happy for money to be taken whenever, and agree with Jim that it would be great if we could have a permanent log-in.

Not sure if anyone else has had the time to actually read through the AGM/EGM papers... I've had a nose and it doesn't seem to be quite as simple as BC making Albert Life President and removing the only post members are able to vote on. Looking at EGM papers, and in particular item 12, it looks like...

C22.1 says that a the organiser may allow a training run, but it's not mandatory, whereas C22.1.1 says no training runs at selection and Prem, but at Div 1-4 at least one training run must be available.

So, I'd take that as meaning that at 1-4 a training run is required.

Again, not wanting to go into details but it sounds similar.. I was poorly for a few days before the race, hence doing no practice and one run on Saturday, and no practice on Sunday. That's not suggesting that I gave it to your paddlers, but that there's certainly something going round at the moment!

Anyone likely to be paddling during the daytime on Friday? I'm off work so going to head over for a session, would be nice to have someone to paddle with, so let me know and we can coordinate times!

Further to this, they won't even be interested in picking up the boat... They'll pay in advance by cheque/bankers draft, then be unable to collect the boat and will apologise profusely and say that you can pay the cheque into the bank, and then send them a cheque back minus something for you by way ...
