I can find you some safety help from the Cheltenham bunch. We've got a lot of interest already for this particular slalom because it's all our divisions in one place. Rich has said he'd certainally do boat based safety for the div 3/4 if he could have an officals run on the 1/2 course. Let me know ...

The rapids at Symonds Yat were purchased by canoeists for canoeists in order to maintain the rapids which were at risk of being lost for good. In order to ensure the site is sustainably managed the following management plan has been drawn up. This still a draft document and comments are welcomed up...

Having paddled the course today I've got to say it's excellent. I was told before I went you needed to have the skills to run the upper Trywern and I think that holds true as even on 8 cummecs the flow is fast and some of the stoppers are quite meaty though I was in a small play boat. It is also a ...

The Blind Auction closes tonight. If you were interested in one of the items and haven't yet bid make sure you do by midnight.

I'm at the graveyard next week to take deliver items and there will also be a representative the week after at stafford and stone.

It does seem a little unfair that the men always go first and us girls are made to wait. If you look at the bala race this week the first K1 man has his practice at 10am races at 12 and then 13:20. So there's a two hour wait then a 1hour and 20 minute wait. In div one ladies I've a practice at 11.1...

What's happening with slalom coaching anyway within the new UKCC coaching scheme? I was under the impression that there would be modules that were discipline specific that we could use to help us progress to the next level and braoden our skills base. I know things are coming out very slowly at the...

We have a swimming pool session but no access to gates. Usally a weekly river trip somewhere. As a result its quite hard to encourage new people to slalom. I'm hoping the situation will improve next year with Symonds Yat though the gates won't be permanent.

Where do people camp when they go to the washburn? We usually stay in the field owned by Pearl in blubberhouses, it was the recommended campsite. However, the facilities aren't great and the number of canoesits going there over the years have dropped so where are people going instead?

Having flown with BA in the last year we were rewarded for our strongly worded complaint with a £75 voucher towards our next flight with them. Unfortunately we can't fly with boats.

On the other hand Virgin who always had a strict no kayak policy have decided to reverse this.
