Re: Event Safety
Apologies for dual posting which I accept is less than ideal however this is a message that needs to get over to everyone involved in organising races and thus I decide to put in both. It is not the first time that this has been done with important messages. I have no problem with this, carry on 8) ...

Re: Editorial: Portable Points
Just to pass comment that is perhaps positive about Portable Points. There is a bottle neck at the top of some divisions particularly in K1M in Div 1 reducing the flow into Prem. Paddle up was an attempt to provide some alleviation which it has done although there remains some opposition and it is l...

Re: If the Answer is 42, what is the Question?
Clearly a topic that has engagement. I think we do have a problem and it is real. We are refusing entries from paddlers who are capable and wish to paddle in races. The refusals are for quite reasonable reasons and as such appropriate. If it was just a handful in a year I would not lose any sleep ov...

Galasport C2 Carbolight
Barely used C2 Galasport Carbolight construction cut for total paddler weight 150-160 kg. No repairs no cracks and has only done a few hours on the water. Looking for a new loving home.

Re: If the Answer is 42, what is the Question?
Simple answer not possible John. I want to see as many paddlers on the water and competing as we can manage and I would absolutely agree we have got a problem in Div 1 at the moment but it is a good problem in that as you note it is too many customers. There are however issues: - we cannot race more...

Re: Lee Valley Prem 10 (British Open)
Firstly thanks must go to Duncan and Nick for the work done in improving information for paddlers, and thus perhaps sponsors. The format of the British Open has been the same for the last three years. There is a Prem race on the Saturday with points accrued from the best of the two runs. This allows...

We have now reached the 200 entry limit for the British Open so any entries received from now on will not be accepted but put on a waiting list.
