Should say Prem races.....predictive text....I hate it

Although I am not currently paddling in Vets, I intend to register for next year, I agree that the points system currently seems unfair. I will paddle div 2 races with hopefully a couple of div 1's and would certainly not expect to get more points than someone paddling all the premium races. I think...

If my memory serves me right Terry Griffiths has won the Alan Harwood trophy 10 times. I stopped him getting 10 in 2015 :D but he won again in 2016. My opinion for what it's worth. I paddled div 2/3 vets for about 10 years but opted back into the 'normal' ranking system at the end of the 2015 season, the reason being I got fed up being the only Vet at a lot of races and often being stuck right at the end of the startlist nowhere near the people ...

I agree with Mike. I paddled Div 2 K1 Vet for a number of years but went back to Div 2 master this year as there were just not enough Vets at events. I found myself many times right at the end of startlists on my own, not much fun. I think a re-vamp is required.

Does anyone know why no results have been posted for the Sunday event at Fairnilee. Div 2/3 and Scottish Champs. The Saturday results are there but not sunday.

That's great news, bit selfish on my part probably, but I raced the Div2/3 last year and felt a bit cheated that the best part of the river had been omitted

Yes that makes sense, being a paddler of a certain age (competeing in vets) I need the water to be flowing as much as possible to make it easier for me as I am so slow. The more water the better.
